Introduction. |
The Children's Home, Pre Fleuri was founded in 1948 by William and Lucienne Bonzon. In 1958 Madeleine, their daughter, joined her parents. This was a period of extension for the school. The chalet was extend to accommodate the ever increasing number of young students coming from all over the world.
Situated in an exceptionally sunny position at the heart of the Swiss Alps, Pre Fleuri faces a wonderful mountain panorama.
At an altitude of 1300 meters in the resort of Villars, Pre Fleuri occupies 2 hectares and is surrounded by meadows and forests, in which there are still wild squirrels, dear, foxes and hares.
At a certain distance from the center of Villars, Pre Fleuri offers a maximum of liberty, yet plenty of freedom and peace, to your children.
The wooden chalet, typically Swiss, was specially designed do accommodate your children. It is both comfortable and functional, has several classrooms, entertainment areas study areas and a large hall. The bedrooms are spacious, containing two to five beds. Wake up is gentle, to the sound of bird song.
Your children live at Pre Fleuri in a warm, family atmosphere which helps them to settle quickly. The serene environment encourages a sound and balanced development.
Your children are cared for 24 hours a day! by "animateurs", teachers and tutors who are all well qualified and fully involved. Under the wing of Sylvie Launay they stimulate and supervise all the activities. There are approximately two members of staff to every five children. We consult our doctors and pediatricians whenever necessary (number of students-40).
Only a limited number of children are accepted in order to maintain the quality of care and the family atmosphere.
